Cooking Methods

For Microwave*:

• Remove the sleeve and place sealed tray in microwave. Do not remove or puncture the FreshLock® film.
• Microwave on high for 1 minute 35 seconds. The film may inflate with steam as it evenly heats the food. Popping noises are normal!
• Be careful! Let the tray rest for 2 minutes before carefully removing the film. Check temperature before feeding.

For Stove Top:

• Remove food from the original package and place in small skillet.
• Add 1 tablespoon of water on low heat and cover with lid.
• Gently steam to keep food tender adding more water if needed to prevent over drying. Cook to 165°F and final tenderness is reached.

This very special seal is microwave safe, BPA/BPS-free, and locks in freshness, ensuring your Plates last.

Do you have allergy-friendly Plates and vegetarian or vegan options?

We offer a variety of Plates with ingredient profiles to support different dietary needs and preferences, including recipes made without gluten, dairy and egg. We do not use nuts in any of our Plates, with the exception of coconut. Some Little Spoon products are made in facilities that also handle common allergens.
